The Story

It Started With A Different Shape.

Back in 2002, most twin-tips followed the same basic recipe: straight rails, rectangular outlines and relatively square tips. We wanted something different.

The idea was simple — what if a twin-tip could turn more like a surfboard? The answer was the elliptical outline.

Inspired by surfboard shaping, the Nomad Wave Twin-Tip was developed around a smooth, continuous outline that completely changes the way the board moves through the water.

Instead of fighting the water with square corners, the elliptical shape flows through it — and you feel the difference immediately.

When The Waves Get Messy, The Shape Really Earns Its Keep.

Getting through waves on a conventional twin-tip can sometimes feel like a negotiation with the board. The Wave Twin-Tip takes a different approach.

The elliptical outline allows the tips to stay high and cut cleanly through chop, while the rear of the board releases efficiently from the water. There is no unnecessary square tip trying to catch the water at the front.

A lightweight carbon build sharing the same construction philosophy as the CC and CCS, brought to a more accessible price point — the complete Wave Twin-Tip experience.

The C-Wave carries the same elliptical outline and riding concept as the CC-Wave and CCS-Wave, built using an efficient carbon layup that keeps the price accessible without compromising the ride.

Topside finishing comes with a standard graphic set included in the price, with custom topside graphics available on request. The underside carries a fixed Nomad logo in dark grey.

Our uncompromising flagship construction — full carbon lamination combined with a full Kevlar layer, for exceptional durability with a chassis weight of around 1.7kg on a 142.

The CCS Super Leggera is the most advanced Wave Twin-Tip construction, combining a full carbon lamination with a full Kevlar layer for exceptional durability and resilience through daily, long-term use.

Despite its robust build, it remains remarkably light — around 1.7kg for the 142 — thanks to the Nomad flex system, closely tied to the shape and carbon layup, delivering a super smooth ride combined with exceptional grip and stability.
